Studio Policies

Students may make up any excused absence in a class of the same level or below during the current term. Missed classes cannot be credited or extended to future terms.

Proper attire is required. Please see dress code requirements.

State Street Dance Studio reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose attitude or conduct is unsatisfactory.

Studio Enrollment

It is studio policy to evaluate incoming young students and assign class levels at the time of registration. Placement classes are by appointment only. Late enrollments for these classes can only be accepted at the discretion of the dance faculty. Please note: Students should expect to stay in each dance level an average of two years. Dancers en pointe in levels Ballet II and higher must take a minimum of two Ballet classes a week. Students must be invited by a faculty member to begin pointe training. 

Private coaching is available for all levels.

Late fee of $5 will be added to registrations after first week of term.
