Ashlie Jarosz (Operations Manager, Tap, Predance), a Chicago native, graduated from Northern Illinois University with a dual degree in Dance Performance as a Northern Dance Theatre Scholarship recipient and a contract major in Arts Management.  For three years she was honored to be the Producer of Art for Life AIDS Benefit Concert, a show in conjunction with Dance for Life Chicago.  She then went on to serve as an intern at the renown Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in MA and also had the opportunity to study with dance artists from all over the world.  
Ashlie received her training early on from the Academy of Movement and Music in Oak Park, IL under the direction of Stephanie Clemens and also performed with the Momenta Performing Arts Company.  She has also studied at Lou Contes, trained through River North Dance Company’s Summer Intensive’s, and also the Jazz Dance World Congress in 2003.  At the age of 16, she toured as a dancer for Chicago entertainer/singer, Frank Pisani and in 2008 performed as a guest artist in Studio 121's Nutcracker.  She has worked with Chicago dance artists such as John Leher, Sarah Cullen Fuller, Keith Elliot, and Paula Frasz.  Along with performing, she has taught around the Chicagoland area for about ten years now and in 2004 received a special recognition from the Tidmarsh Arts Foundation for excellence in teaching assistance.  She also performs in State Street’s faculty member Annette Thomann’s annual performance, Freespace.
